After much research we realized that many people are prejudiced against the people living in the slums of the city. They feel that as most of these people work as domestic servants, laborers, painters etc. they earn enough money to take care of their needs. But the real truth is that they are spending what ever they earn in a lifetime for either a marriage or a surgery for their loved ones. To meet these expenses they go to unscrupulous moneylenders who fleece them of their money with astonishing rates of interest. Besides repaying these loans, what remaining money they are left with helps them to lead a hand to mouth existence.

It is here that Reachout helps to make lives easier for them. This organization has various plans to help them out like financial assistance, free educational backup with literacy campaigns, health care etc.

If this sect of people is given some kind of assistance they will very easily climb up the social ladder, which in turn will improve the economy of our country.
