The Story of Pushpa:
Pushpa
and her husband are living in a slum in T.Nagar. They were leading a hand
to mouth existence barely making ends meet. They had to stop their daughter's
education, as they could not pay the tuition fees. Moreover, school fees
and medical aid for her sick son were also draining their finances. It
was at this juncture that one of our well wishers donated towards helping
them start a mobile food stall. As Pushpa was willing to work with commitment
and determination we directed the donation to get her started. Today she,
with her family's support, is busy selling Idlis and Dosas from her mobile
vehicle. Her confidence is growing day by day and our donor is happy that
the contribution has changed Pushpa's life and made her whole family smile.
